Statement of Faith
We affirm our faith in the Bible. We believe that the Holy Bible was written by men inspired by God and is a perfect treasure of heavenly instruction and that it has God for its author, salvation for its end, and truth without any mixture of error.
We affirm our faith in God. We believe that there is one, and only one, living and true God eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
We affirm our faith in Jesus Christ. We believe in Jesus Christ, the man of Nazareth, our crucified and Risen Lord. He has come to us and shared our common lot, conquering sin and death and reconciling the world to Himself.
We affirm our faith in the Holy Spirit. We believe that the Holy Spirit abides within believers to empower, lead, guide, and instruct us; thereby imparting gifts so that the church will produce strong disciples.
We affirm our faith in Repentance and Salvation. We believe that mankind can obtain salvation through the redemptive work of Christ upon repentance of sin.
We affirm our faith in Sanctification. We believe that Sanctification is the process by which the Christian is enabled to live a holy and separated life. We are made partakers of God’s holiness. We believe that Sanctification is a progressive work; that it is begun in regeneration; and that it is carried on in the hearts of believers by the presence and power of the Holy Spirit.
We affirm our faith in the Blessed Hope. We believe in the Blessed Hope, which is the rapture of the Church of God, which is in Christ, at His return.
